Babe & Babe: Pig in the City (2-Disc DVD Set, Region 2, PAL)
This 2-disc Babe collection brings together the original beloved family film Babe and its imaginative sequel Babe: Pig in the City.
In Babe, a young piglet unexpectedly finds himself living on farmer Arthur Hoggett's farm. Unlike the other animals, Babe is determined to find his own place in the world. With his gentle personality, intelligence and unusual ability to communicate with the farm animals, he begins learning the work normally performed by sheepdogs. His unlikely ambition eventually leads him toward a remarkable challenge that could prove that even a little pig can accomplish extraordinary things.
The Academy Award-winning family classic combines live-action filmmaking with memorable animal characters and stars James Cromwell as farmer Arthur Hoggett.
In Babe: Pig in the City, Babe's adventures become considerably bigger. Babe, Ferdy and Mrs. Hoggett leave the familiar countryside and find themselves in a huge and unfamiliar city. Their journey introduces Babe to an eccentric collection of animals and turns into another imaginative adventure filled with comedy, danger and heart.
This set contains both films on separate DVDs, making it a convenient complete double feature for fans of Babe and classic 1990s family cinema.
