Inception (2010) (DVD, PAL, Region 2)
Inception (2010) is an acclaimed science-fiction action thriller written and directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Elliot Page, Ken Watanabe, Cillian Murphy and Michael Caine.
Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a highly skilled thief who specialises in extracting valuable secrets from people's subconscious minds while they dream. His extraordinary abilities have made him a sought-after operative in the dangerous world of corporate espionage, but they have also cost him everything he holds dear.
When Cobb is offered an opportunity to reclaim his former life, he must undertake an almost impossible assignment. Instead of stealing an idea, he and his carefully assembled team must plant one deep within a target's subconscious mind.
As the team ventures through increasingly complex layers of dreams, the boundaries between reality and imagination begin to blur. With time running out and unexpected dangers emerging, Cobb must confront the secrets of his own past while attempting to complete the ultimate mission.
Combining spectacular visual effects, intelligent storytelling, breathtaking action sequences and a powerful musical score by Hans Zimmer, Inception is one of the defining science-fiction films of modern cinema. The film won four Academy Awards, including Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.
This Warner Bros. Home Entertainment DVD edition features the film in PAL anamorphic widescreen (2.40:1), with English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and Dutch, French, Spanish and English hearing-impaired subtitles.
The DVD also includes several behind-the-scenes bonus features exploring Christopher Nolan's creative vision, the construction of the film's elaborate dream environments and the production of its memorable action sequences.
