Julio Iglesias – Zärtlichkeiten (LP Vinyl, CBS, 1981)
Zärtlichkeiten is a German-language Julio Iglesias LP released by CBS in 1981. This edition was produced by Ramón Arcusa and Michael Kunze, with arrangements credited to Ramón Arcusa and Rafael Ferro. The record itself is marked Made in Holland.
Julio Iglesias became one of the world's best-known Spanish singers, building an international career by recording his romantic repertoire in numerous languages. Zärtlichkeiten represents the German-language side of that international success, combining Iglesias' distinctive romantic vocal style with polished orchestral pop and ballad arrangements.
The album contains German adaptations of songs from Iglesias' repertoire, including the single "Mit Tränen in den Augen ist man blind." The presentation is particularly attractive for collectors, with a gatefold sleeve featuring a large portrait of Iglesias and extensive German song lyrics printed across the interior.
The sleeve shows visible age and storage wear, particularly around the edges, corners and surfaces. The original CBS vinyl has orange/yellow gradient labels and is housed in a plain paper inner sleeve.
