When a ship carrying English settlers arrives in the New World under the leadership of Captain John Smith, his path crosses with Pocahontas, the independent daughter of Chief Powhatan. As tensions between the settlers and Pocahontas's people grow, she must follow her own instincts and seek guidance from the wise Grandmother Willow.
