The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Two Disc Special Edition)(DVD, Region 2, PAL)
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is the first chapter of Peter Jackson's acclaimed adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy saga.
In the peaceful Shire, young Hobbit Frodo Baggins inherits a seemingly ordinary ring from his uncle Bilbo. When the wizard Gandalf discovers that it is actually the legendary One Ring, Frodo is forced to leave his home before the servants of the Dark Lord Sauron can find him.
Joined by his loyal Hobbit companions and eventually by Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf, Frodo becomes part of the Fellowship of the Ring. Together they begin a dangerous journey across Middle-earth with one crucial objective: the Ring must be taken to Mordor and destroyed in the fires where it was forged.
Featuring Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Astin, Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, Cate Blanchett and Christopher Lee, The Fellowship of the Ring combines large-scale battles, adventure, fantasy and an unforgettable journey through Middle-earth.
