Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas: Special Edition (DVD, Region 2, PAL)
Enter the wonderfully imaginative world of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, the celebrated stop-motion fantasy directed by Henry Selick and based on a story and characters by Tim Burton.
Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, has become tired of celebrating the same frightening holiday year after year. When he unexpectedly discovers Christmas Town, he becomes fascinated by its lights, presents, snow and festive atmosphere. Inspired by his discovery, Jack decides that he and the residents of Halloween Town should take over Christmas themselves.
His intentions are good, but Halloween Town's unusual interpretation of Christmas soon causes chaos. With memorable characters including Sally, Oogie Boogie and Zero, imaginative stop-motion animation and an iconic musical score by Danny Elfman, The Nightmare Before Christmas has become a modern animation classic enjoyed during both Halloween and Christmas.
This Special Edition DVD contains the 73-minute feature together with extensive bonus material, including audio commentary, a making-of documentary, storyboard comparisons, previously unseen scenes, posters, trailers and additional Tim Burton-related material.
