Amnesia (2-DVD, PAL, Region 2)
Amnesia is a British mystery and crime mini-series starring John Hannah, Jemma Redgrave, Anthony Calf and Patrick Malahide, written by Chris Lang and directed by Nicholas Laughland.
Police inspector Mackenzie Stone (John Hannah) is still haunted by the unexplained disappearance of his wife three months earlier. His search leads him to John Dean, an IT specialist suffering from amnesia following an accident. Dean is desperately trying to reconstruct his own past, but Stone begins to suspect that his forgotten history may contain clues to another disturbing case involving the disappearance of Paul West and his family. As the investigation develops, the boundaries between missing memories, hidden identities and buried secrets become increasingly uncertain.
This 2-DVD edition contains the complete 146-minute production. The photographed release is a Just Bridge Entertainment Benelux edition with English audio, Dutch subtitles, Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround and 16:9 widescreen presentation.
Both original DVDs are present. The photographed playing surfaces look clean overall with only very light signs of handling visible, while the case and artwork also present well. The set is therefore appropriately described as Very Good condition based on the photographs; no playback testing is implied.
