Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie (DVD, PAL, Region 2)
Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie brings Rowan Atkinson's famous Mr. Bean character from British television to the big screen. Directed by Mel Smith, the 1997 comedy stars Rowan Atkinson alongside Peter MacNicol, Pamela Reed, Harris Yulin, John Mills and Burt Reynolds.
When London's Royal National Gallery sends its supposedly distinguished art expert Mr. Bean to Los Angeles for the unveiling of the valuable painting Whistler's Mother, his American hosts have no idea what is about to arrive. Bean's unique combination of good intentions, social awkwardness and spectacular incompetence soon turns an important cultural event into a succession of increasingly chaotic disasters.
