Alfred Hause und sein großes Tango-Orchester – Goldene Tangos (LP Vinyl, Karussell, 1970)
Goldene Tangos presents Alfred Hause and his large tango orchestra performing a selection of classic and popular tango melodies. Released as part of the Karussell Gold-Serie, catalogue number 535 011, this German stereo LP showcases the polished orchestral tango sound for which Hause became particularly well known.
The album combines dramatic strings and traditional tango rhythms with lush easy-listening orchestration. Hause's arrangements bring together internationally recognised tango standards such as La Cumparsita, Blue Tango, Jalousie and Tango Bolero, alongside German favourites including Es wird in 100 Jahren wieder so ein Frühling sein.
The record labels state Made in Germany, while the rear sleeve states Printed in West Germany by Gerhard Kaiser GmbH, Essen, making this a West German Karussell pressing. The distinctive gold-bordered sleeve belongs to Karussell's Gold-Serie.
The vinyl appears generally clean with visible light surface marks consistent with normal handling and previous play. The sleeve shows age-related storage wear, including edge and corner wear, surface marks and some small areas of wear to the front. A plain paper inner sleeve is included.
