Original Dutch pressing of George Baker Selection – 5 Jaar Hits, a double LP compilation released by Negram celebrating five years of success for one of the Netherlands' most popular pop groups of the 1970s.
Led by songwriter and vocalist Hans Bouwens (George Baker), the George Baker Selection achieved international recognition with their distinctive blend of melodic pop, soft rock, and folk-inspired arrangements. This collection brings together many of the band's best-loved recordings, including Little Green Bag, Sing A Song Of Love, Baby Blue, Holy Day, and Paloma Blanca-era classics that helped establish their worldwide reputation.
This 2LP set is housed in its original gatefold sleeve featuring band photographs and biographical notes. Both records retain a strong gloss and appear well preserved. The sleeve shows light age-related storage wear consistent with a vintage 1970s release. Original inner sleeves are included.
An excellent addition for collectors of Dutch pop music, 1970s soft rock, and George Baker Selection vinyl releases.
