Ice Age (DVD, Region 2, PAL, Dutch/French)
Travel back to the beginning of one of animation's most popular prehistoric adventures with Ice Age.
As the world enters the Ice Age and animals migrate south in search of warmer surroundings, unlikely companions Manny, a solitary woolly mammoth, and Sid, an energetic and talkative sloth, find themselves responsible for returning a lost human baby to its family.
Their journey becomes even more complicated when they are joined by Diego, a sabre-toothed tiger whose true intentions are not quite what they initially seem. Together, the mismatched group must cross a dangerous frozen landscape while learning about trust, friendship and what it really means to be a family.
Alongside the main adventure, the determined prehistoric squirrel Scrat continues his never-ending battle to secure his precious acorn, creating some of the film's most memorable comic moments.
Featuring colourful computer animation, memorable characters, comedy and adventure, Ice Age is the original film that launched the long-running Ice Age franchise.
This is a Region 2 PAL DVD.
Region 2 DVDs are designed for compatible DVD players in Europe and other Region 2 territories. Many DVD players are region-locked, so this disc may not play on a Region 1 or other incompatible player.
This DVD also uses the PAL video standard. Equipment designed exclusively for NTSC may not support PAL playback.
Buyers outside Europe, especially those in the United States and Canada, should verify that their equipment supports both Region 2 DVDs and PAL video before purchasing.
A region-free or multi-region DVD player may support the disc, but compatibility depends on the individual player and display.
