Vroeger of Later is the influential 1974 Dutch-language album by singer-songwriter Robert Long, released on the Imperial label through Bovema in the Netherlands.

The album represents an important moment in Dutch popular music and helped establish Robert Long as one of the country's most distinctive singer-songwriters. Known for his expressive voice, intelligent songwriting and willingness to challenge social conventions, Long combines melodic pop and chanson with sharp observations about relationships, religion, society and personal freedom.

Featuring ten original compositions, the album includes memorable songs such as Liefste Mijn Liefste, Mien, Afscheid, Kalverliefde and Jezus Redt. His lyrics range from intimate and emotional to satirical and provocative, reflecting the changing social attitudes of the Netherlands during the 1970s.

The recordings feature arrangements by Erik van der Wurff and production by John Möring, with contributions from accomplished Dutch studio musicians. The album was recorded and mixed at Intertone Studios in Heemstede.
