Lassie (VHS, PAL, Dutch, 1994)
Lassie is the 1994 family adventure bringing one of cinema and television's most famous canine characters to a new generation. This Dutch VHS release features the film fully dubbed in Dutch and comes from CIC Video / Paramount.
When the Turner family moves from the city to the countryside of Virginia, young Matt has difficulty adjusting to his new surroundings. He misses his old life, but everything begins to change when the family takes in a beautiful Collie named Lassie. Initially distant, Matt gradually develops a close friendship with Lassie, and together they embark on an adventure through the countryside.
Combining family drama, adventure and the enduring friendship between a boy and his dog, this version of Lassie is an appealing piece of 1990s family-film nostalgia and a nice addition to a vintage VHS collection.
