Marco Borsato – Samen Voor Altijd: De Grootste Hits Uit Zijn Carrière (CD, 2015)
Marco Borsato – Samen Voor Altijd: De Grootste Hits Uit Zijn Carrière is a 2015 greatest-hits compilation featuring 16 memorable songs from the career of one of the Netherlands' best-known pop singers.
The collection brings together some of Borsato's most successful Dutch-language recordings, including “Dromen Zijn Bedrog,” “Ik Leef Niet Meer Voor Jou,” “De Waarheid,” “Binnen,” “Rood,” “Afscheid Nemen Bestaat Niet,” “Dochters” and “Samen Voor Altijd.” The selection showcases his distinctive combination of emotional ballads, melodic pop and powerful vocal performances.
This particular edition was released by Universal Music in 2015 and was exclusively available through Kruidvat, as clearly indicated on the original rear artwork. Manufactured in Germany, the CD comes in a standard jewel case with its original printed artwork.
An excellent introduction to Marco Borsato's music and a worthwhile addition to collections of Dutch pop, Nederpop and European music from the 1990s through the 2010s.
