Milli Vanilli – Girl I'm Gonna Miss You (CD Maxi-Single, 1989, Hansa / BMG Ariola)
Milli Vanilli – Girl I'm Gonna Miss You is an original 1989 European four-track CD maxi-single released by Hansa / BMG Ariola, featuring one of the duo's most successful international pop ballads.
Produced by Frank Farian, “Girl I'm Gonna Miss You” became a major chart success during the late 1980s, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and becoming a memorable hit of the dance-pop era.
This maxi-single includes both the extended 6:38 long version and the 4:19 single version of the title song, together with two additional tracks, “More Than You'll Ever Know” and “Can't You Feel My Love.”
The original rear artwork also promotes Milli Vanilli's US remix album All or Nothing, making this release an interesting period piece from the group's international breakthrough.
Milli Vanilli, fronted publicly by Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan, became one of the most recognisable pop acts of the late 1980s. Their recordings were later at the centre of a major music-industry controversy when it emerged that the duo had not performed the lead vocals on their commercial releases.
This German-manufactured CD edition carries catalogue number 662 647 and includes the original Hansa silver disc, printed artwork and standard jewel case.
A nostalgic addition to collections of 1980s pop, Europop, dance-pop, Milli Vanilli releases and vintage CD maxi-singles.
