Patricia Barber – Nightclub is a sophisticated vocal jazz album by American pianist, singer and songwriter Patricia Barber. Originally released in 2000, the album concentrates on Barber's interpretations of classic jazz standards, presented with the intimate, late-night atmosphere suggested by its title.
Barber provides vocals and piano, accompanied by an accomplished group of musicians including Michael Arnopol on bass, Adam Cruz and Adam Nussbaum on drums, Charlie Hunter on 8-string guitar and Marc Johnson on bass.
This European CD edition was issued under exclusive licence to Blue Note Records from Premonition Records. The disc and artwork show catalogue number 7243 5 27290 2 9, with barcode 724352729020, matching the copy shown in the photographs.
Produced by Patricia Barber, with Michael Friedman as executive producer and Jim Anderson handling recording and mixing.
The CD is supplied in its original standard jewel case with the original booklet and rear inlay. The disc shows light signs of previous use but appears generally well cared for. The jewel case has typical surface/storage wear consistent with a used CD.
