't Asoosjale Orkest – Anders Dan Anders (Vinyl LP, 1974, Lark INL 3590, Netherlands)
Anders Dan Anders is a 1974 Dutch-language album by 't Asoosjale Orkest, released on the Lark Records label through Inelco in the Netherlands.
The album features an entertaining collection of humorous, satirical and sometimes cheeky Dutch songs, performed in a lively street-orchestra style. Combining traditional folk influences, cabaret humour and playful storytelling, the group delivers a distinctive example of Dutch novelty and entertainment music from the 1970s.
The four musicians are presented under their colourful stage names: Mooie Toon (saxophone and vocals), Lange Bart (banjo and vocals), Vlugge Kees (percussion and vocals) and Cor met de Handjes (accordion and vocals).
With songs such as Ware Liefde, Potje Gepiest, Seks-Seks-Seks, Ik Dronk en Vergat and Wie Verpest Het?, the album combines irreverent lyrics with catchy melodies and an informal, cheerful performance style.
Produced by Aart Baars, with technical and mixing work credited to Cees Beaudoux, the recordings were made at B.B.C. Studio in Baambrugge. The colourful illustrated sleeve artwork is credited to Ton Roesink.
